Saddam
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Saddam Hussein was convicted and sentenced Sunday to death by hanging for war crimes in the 1982 killings of 148 people in the town of Dujail, as the formerleader, trembling, shouted "God is great!" ... During Sunday's hearing, Saddam initially refused the chief judge'sorder to rise; two bailiffs lifted the ousted ruler to his feet and heremained standing through the sentencing. Before the session began, one of Saddam's lawyers, former U.S.Attorney General Ramsey Clark, was ejected from the courtroom afterhanding the judge a memorandum in which he called the trial a travesty.

Иногда получается смешно: Chevron во многих местах, включая FT и Economist, пишет на целую страницу: "A 5% reduction in global energy use would be enough to power Australia, Mexico, and the entire UK".

One continent. Geologists call it Pangea. We call it Emirates. Fly Emirates. ... The world's continents were once all joined together as one. And there's no reason why they shouldn't be again. Which is why Emirates now serves more that 80 destinations ....
